Unscramblers and orienters Rototech

Unconventionally designed bottles featuring more and more peculiar geometries: this is the new frontier of the industry, especially the cosmetic one, launching on the market such new shapes, fruit of the most advanced marketing strategies.

To these challenges, that require highly sophisticated machinery, Ronchi replies with Rototech. It’s the Monobloc version of an unscrambler and an orienter that allows to unscramble, orientate and then direct the bottles to a conveyor, or to position them into pucks.

All in one machine to reduce space requirements and a single supplier to obtain the best productivity and reliability, thus minimizing production stops and ensuring a complete assistance.

Thanks to the “ad hoc” selection system designed by Ronchi, the rotary unscrambler has been conceived with the aim at optimizing the handling of a wide variety of bottles shapes.

The orientating heads, fitted onto a rotary turret, bend down on the bottles and, through electronic reading systems, they hook and correctly orientate them and place them into the pucks running through the machine on an appropriate circuit of conveyors.

A depucker is also available: at the end of the filling and capping cycle, it takes the bottles out of the pucks in a thoroughly automatic manner.

The high production speed, up to 600 BPM, is the sign of distinction of Rototech. As for all other Ronchi lines, it has been designed for quick and simple format change-over that do require the usage of any tooling.

The system is equipped with a puck feeding device driven by brushless motors that releases the pucks only in presence of the bottle getting out of the unscrambler hopper (no-bottle no-puck system), thus avoiding that empty pucks are introduced into the line.

Accurate, simple, safe and economical: Rototech systems are guaranteed by the reliability of Ronchi trade mark.
